Our inspiration and mission
Afghan Unity Council Liverpool was created to support Afghan families living in Liverpool and surrounding areas. Our main purpose is to ensure that, in line with our culture and values, both in life and after death, our community members are treated with dignity and respect.
We believe that no one should feel alone. Our goal is to bring all Afghan families under one roof, so that in every situation we can support one another, stand together, and provide help when it is needed. This initiative was inspired by the need for unity, cooperation, and a strong, connected community where everyone feels valued and supported.
What we do for our community
Afghan Unity Council Liverpool supports Afghan families by organising cultural events, community gatherings, and support programs that bring people together. We help families connect, share experiences, and support one another, especially in times of need.
Our activities aim to reduce isolation, strengthen unity, and ensure that all community members feel respected, supported, and included.
